Le Silence

Staged reading, in French, of Le Silence, by existentialist playwright Nathalie Sarraute, adapted and edited for the purposes of the staged presentation by “Les Joueurs”

There are 7 characters on stage, one of which doesn’t say a thing and yet it is his aloofness that brings a mounting frenzy of anxiety and playfulness to this play. In the existentialist tradition that speaks that our consciousness exists only through the interaction with other people.
