Madame Bovary’s Carriage: The Art of Seduction in Literature

On Saturday, November 16, Albertine and The New York Review of Books present a festive and original event to celebrate the rich literary history of the bookstore with live illustration battles, music, food, and drinks. Curated and hosted by the writer and critic Merve Emre, and The New York Review of Books.

With the participation of Antonin Baudry, former Cultural Counselor, and illustrators Joanna Avilez, Tamara Shopsin, Jason Fulford, Paul Sahre, Nicholas Blechman, Hugo Guinness, Tom Bachtell and Leanne Shapton. Food & cocktails created by Benoit x Alain Ducasse, New York.
