The Albertine Book Club Reads ‘Sad Tiger’ by Neige Sinno

In June, the Albertine Book Club will read Sad Tiger by Neige Sinno, translated from the French by Natasha Lehrer and published by Seven Stories.

“Reading Sad Tiger is like descending into an abyss with your eyes open. It forces you to see, to really see, what it means to be a child abused by an adult, for years. Everyone should read it.” —Annie Ernaux

Albertine members will receive an invitation by email.

Moderated by the Albertine staff, the Albertine book club is open to Albertine members only. Albertine members are free to speak in English or in French, but a strong command of the French language is recommended to attend. For more information on how to become an Albertine member, click here.
